Most important to the WTBTS is that you will put hours in while vacationing - field service, baby. Field Service!

Let me guess, a reprint of the June & July Our Kingdom Ministry (1987) is in order:
Include Meetings in Your Vacation Plans
1 “Now that I have made arrangements for my vacation, how can I locate the nearest Kingdom Hall?” Does that question come up at times when you plan a vacation? Many find that some of their most memorable experiences on vacation are enjoyed when they attend meetings and share in field service with the local congregation. This helps them to “widen out” in their hearts, resulting in a greater appreciation “for the whole association of brothers.”—2 Cor. 6:11-13; 1 Pet. 2:17.
2 You may travel to areas where you are already acquainted with the local congregation because of previous visits. But how can you locate the nearest congregation when you have not been in that area before? Some local newspapers give the Kingdom Hall address along with meeting times. The local telephone directory may have a listing under “Jehovah’s Witnesses” or “Kingdom Hall.” Otherwise, you may find a policeman, postman, or other knowledgeable resident who can either direct you to the Kingdom Hall or assist you in contacting brothers living in the community. It is a good idea to look up the congregation as soon as you arrive in the area.
3 Meeting times are about the same in most places. However, keep in mind that Kingdom Halls in some areas may have meetings in different languages. By telephoning the Kingdom Hall in advance, you can make sure that the meeting you plan to attend is in your language, and you can ask for directions to help you find the hall.
4 Vacation time gives us an opportunity to be away from our secular activity and enjoy a few days of relaxation. However, we do not want to take time off from serving Jehovah. When attending meetings and sharing in the field ministry with the congregation where we are spending our vacation, we may find special refreshment for ourselves as well as be a source of encouragement to the local brothers.—Heb. 10:24, 25; 13:15, 16.
km 6/87 pp. 3-4 Include Meetings in Your Vacation Plans
7 In order to make your travel plans complete, be sure to include arrangements for attending meetings and perhaps sharing in field service with the local congregation. The June 1987 Our Kingdom Ministry article “Include Meetings in Your Vacation Plans” offered suggestions on how to locate the nearest Kingdom Hall.
8 Whether we are spending most of July with our home congregation or we are visiting in other areas, we will want to participate to the extent possible in congregation meetings and field activity. By “always having plenty to do in the work of the Lord,” our minds will be directed aright, and we will maintain fine works to Jehovah’s praise.—1 Cor. 15:58.km 7/87 p. 3 pars. 7-8 ‘Keep Our Minds on Maintaining Fine Works’
Thank God the Kingdom Hall locations and meeting times are listed on JW.org - easily looked up and detoured/bypassed when doing vacation map planning.

With the July 15 WT approaching, would this be the ideal opportunity to start an ACTIVELY VOCAL fade?
by Captain Blithering inby 'actively vocal', i do not mean openly criticising the articles and pointing out the inconsistencies or flipflops (not footwear, reversals).
i do mean letting people know that you're finding it hard to understand the new truth, and the fact that there is therefore old truth, or falsities, (is that a word?
it is now), therefore if there are falsehoods (that's the word, of course), then that puts into doubt the extent of jah's involvement in the preparation/dissemination of it all... (and making it clear you're not saying they aren't gods prophets on earth, just that you're not sure, don't know).. the reason i ask is cos i'm finding it hard to completely fade without an external reason.

AnnOMaly >>> whoa, they really said that?!? (w81 3/1 pp. 24-26)
After all, with this reversal of doctrine in spe it appears the WTBTS forces the interpretation of sectarian views.

AUSTRALIA | TRANSCRIPT of Child Abuse Inquiry into Jehovah's Witnesses and Watchtower Society - April 2013
by jwleaks injw leaks has published the 17 page official transcript of the appearance by watchtower bible and tract society of australia and jehovah's witnesses before the "inquiry into the handling of child abuse by religious and other organisations" conducted on 11 april 2013 in victoria, australia.. http://jwleaks.org/australia/.
quote from rachel van witsen, legal counsel for watchtower bible and tract society of australia and jehovah's witnesses, in reply to who is responsible for reporting child abuse within the religion of jehovah's witnesses... .
ms van witsen at the moment, because there is no mandatory reporting for ministers of religion in victoria, then the victim, who has very often had their dignity removed, is then put in the drivers seat.. .

Mr D. O’BRIEN — I just want you to be very clear. Although we have not sworn you in, obviously you are aware of the contempt. I am not wanting to have a go at you. I am trying to recall what you said. I thought you said that you were aware of some in stances where the child did not want to report it to police. I am not necessarily going to put you on the spot here; I just would like to know if that is what you said and if that is the situation.
Mr D. O’Brien (Member of Committee) commenting on Mr T. O’Brien (Director of Society and Acting Branch Coordinator)
It is sad to see how they hold in contempt the 'superior authorites' in all of this (Romans 13:1). So much so, even the 'superior authorites' notice it.

GATED COMMUNITIES IN PUERTO RICO: ACCESS CODES and REMOTES must be provided to the WATCHTOWER CORPORATION by APRIL 23, 2013...
by Calebs Airplane inthis case is in it's 9th year an has been touched upon briefly on and off.. the latest from the federal court is that all gated communites in puerto rico have until april 23 to provide the watchtower corporation full access.... this means the entry code or remote control devices that open the front fence.. this is clearly an act of provocation in order to create "pseudo-persecution" thereby increasing fs hours and "voluntary donations"....

. . . gated communities are perhaps the last resort of the WTBTS to squeeze money out of somewhat affluent people.
